Max-Planck-Institut für Biochemie has entered into an agreement with PicoQuant GmbH for the delivery of an upgrade to the existing PicoQuant MicroTime 200 to a Luminosa Single Photon Counting Confocal Microscope. The services will be delivered in München, Landkreis, München, Kreisfreie Stadt. The upgrade includes an inverted research microscope, a FLIMbee Galvo scanner, a Z-piezo objective scanner, a motorized sample stage, a Laser Combining Unit (LCU) with pulsed picosecond lasers, a four-color PIE filter set, a Main Optical Unit (MOU), TCSPC electronics, two Excelitas SPAD detectors, a polarizing beam splitter cube, a variable PSF function, LED-based epifluorescence illumination, and a DIC illumination mode. Additionally, the Luminosa software with Python interface and four days of installation and training by PicoQuant engineers are included.
