      Pilot Project on Multi-layered Airborne Capabilities for Situational Awareness - HAPS Services for Border Surveillance

      The European Border and Coast Guard Agency (FRONTEX) needs services based on High Altitude Platform Systems (HAPS) for a pilot project to support border surveillance and management activities, with a maximum total value of 3,200,000 EUR over 12 months. The services shall consist of deploying at least one HAPS over a designated Area of Interest for 15 consecutive days of continuous operation to demonstrate its abilities in persistent surveillance, data fusion, RFI monitoring, and wireless connectivity. The award criteria are quality (60%) and price (40%).
