Corlann needs construction services for an extension, refurbishment, heating system upgrade, and associated site works at Carra Mor Community Dwelling, Lifford, Ennis, Co. Clare, with a maximum total value of 250,000 EUR over 3 months. The project involves building a new single-storey extension with an accessible assisted bathroom, ensuite, equipment room, storage, and corridor, along with internal refurbishment to convert shared sanitary facilities into individual ensuites, widen door openings, upgrade fire doors, and alter plumbing, drainage, ventilation, electrical, and fire alarm systems. External works include a new bus canopy, hardstanding, parking relocation, kerb works, drainage alterations, soakaway, and landscaping. A comprehensive upgrade of the heating and domestic hot water system is also required, including removing the existing oil-fired plant and installing a new high-efficiency condensing oil boiler, hot water cylinder, circulating pumps, heating controls, and plantroom modifications. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, plant, temporary works, testing, commissioning, certification, and operation and maintenance manuals to deliver a complete, fully operational facility.

The proposed works comprise the construction of a new single-storey extension and associated refurbishment and alteration works to an existing community dwelling at Carra Mor Community Dwelling, Lifford, Ennis, Co. Clare (V95 Y4A6). The project includes the construction of a new extension incorporating an accessible assisted bathroom, accessible ensuite, equipment room, storage room and connecting corridor. Internal refurbishment works include the conversion of existing shared sanitary facilities into six individual ensuites, construction of a new sluice room, widening of internal door openings, fire door upgrades, and associated alterations to plumbing, drainage, ventilation, electrical and fire alarm systems. External works comprise the construction of a new galvanised steel bus canopy with laminated glazed roof, reinforced concrete hardstanding, relocation of existing parking spaces, new kerb works, foul and surface water drainage alterations, soakaway, landscaping reinstatement and all associated site development works. The contract also includes a comprehensive upgrade of the existing heating and domestic hot water installation, including the removal of the existing oil-fired plant and the installation of a new external high-efficiency condensing oil boiler, new twin-coil hot water cylinder, circulating pumps, heating controls, plantroom modifications, associated electrical works, and extension of the heating system to serve the new accommodation. The Contractor shall provide all labour, materials, plant, temporary works, testing, commissioning, certification, operation and maintenance manuals, and all ancillary works necessary to deliver a complete, fully operational facility in accordance with the drawings, specifications and contract documents.
