Tampere University Foundation sr needs a Fast 3D live cell imaging microscope for fluorescence imaging of live cells, model organisms, and 3D cell cultures, to be delivered to Tampere University’s Kauppi campus in Pirkanmaa, Finland. The procurement includes delivery, installation, commissioning, user training, technical support, warranty, and maintenance services, with a price ceiling of 514,000 EUR excluding VAT. The device must incorporate novel technology for low excitation light intensity imaging and comply with minimum requirements for the microscope body, fast 3D imaging, and software/computer. The contract period begins upon signing and lasts until contractual obligations are fulfilled. Tenders will be evaluated based on quality (60%) and price (40%).

Microscale thermophoresis device

Oulun yliopisto needs a spectral shift and microscale thermophoresis device for Biocenter Oulu, with a maximum total value of 189,000 EUR (excluding VAT). The device will be used to characterize and quantify nanoparticle interactions, including proteins, in solution without immobilization, and must enable assessment of sample quality and aggregation, differentiating binding events from aggregation. It needs to detect interactions based on changes in the emission spectrum of an excited fluorophore under isothermal conditions and create a microscopic non-isothermal temperature field to determine binding events based on temperature-related intensity changes and fluorescence intensity changes following thermophoresis. The device must have a measurable dynamic range of dissociation constant of at least nM-mM and binding affinity in at least nM-mM range, with low sample consumption (around 10 microlitres) and low nanomole of the labeled target. The contract duration is 36 months. The award criterion is the total price, weighted at 100%.
