    The Irish Air Navigation Service has entered into an agreement with FREQUENTIS COMSOFT GmbH for the delivery of a Contingency Air Situation Display System (CASDS), including software and hardware elements, and simulator training platforms. This system will be used to provide a safe Air Traffic Management (ATM) service in Dublin in the event of a failure of the main COOPANS ATM system. The contract has a duration of 5 years and a total value of 10,000,000 EUR. The software purchased must comply with EU and IAA safety regulations. Two bids were received for this contract.
