A section of the R446 will need to be included and upgraded both north and south of the proposed junction to ensure that proper tie ins can be considered, in addition to walking, cycling and buses. The arm linking into the Ardaun will require land acquisition to allow for widening to add bus lanes, Bus Shelters and the like.
