The Ulkoministeriö (Finnish Ministry for Foreign Affairs) needs renovation work for the Finnish Embassy Residence in Geneva, Switzerland. The project involves the renewal of the water and sewage network, renovation of the top floor (including kitchen relocation and bathroom modifications), renovation of part of the wooden façade, and sealing and floor surface repairs of the ground floor. The selected principal contractor will be responsible for all construction works, materials, and products on a turnkey basis, covering all activities from work planning and engineering through construction and final commissioning. About the bid

The Residence is located in Route de Ferney 149 A, Geneva. It is part of a terraced house (row house) built in early 1960. The gross floor area is approximately 609 m2 and the spaces are located on three floors. The project comprises of the renewal of the water and sewage network, renovation of the top floor (relocation of the kitchen, modification of the bathrooms) including renovation of part of the wooden façade, sealing and floor surface repairs of the ground floor, and other works as described in more detail in the procurement documents, all to be carried out in accordance with the prepared plans, including appropriate repairs to other parts of the facilities. The selected principal contractor will be responsible for all construction works, materials, and products, and must ensure compliance with all applicable construction-related requirements set by the authorities until the renovation is completed and the warranty obligations are fulfilled. The principal contractor shall carry out full responsibility for the works on a turnkey basis, covering all activities from work planning and engineering through construction and final commissioning.
