Projektet omfatter anlægsarbejder (tunneler, stationer, viadukter) og transportsystemer (rullende materiel, SCADA, signalanlæg, strømforsyning), med en målsætning om 50% CO₂-reduktion. Leverandører inviteres til et informationsmøde onsdag den 8. oktober 2025 kl. 10:00-11:00 via Teams, og kan derefter registrere sig på "Byggeprojekt"-platformen for at deltage i markedsdialogen for enten anlægsarbejder eller transportsystemer.

      Dear potential tenderer, Following our initial information meeting in the spring, we are pleased to inform you that the M5 Metro Line project has now moved further in our strategic planning. We are therefore ready to invite you to a new information meeting to share the latest updates and outline the forthcoming process. The goal of the M5 is to provide efficient, sustainable public transport to both existing urban areas currently without metro service (particularly on Amager) and new urban development zones, including the East Harbour (Kløverparken, Refshaleøen, and Lynetteholm). The M5 will also offer a new cross-harbour connection. Project overview: Approx. 15.7 km standalone metro line with up to 9 stations (underground and elevated) Stage 1: ~6 km bored twin tunnel with 5 underground stations, ~2 km of viaducts, and 1 elevated station Civil Works scope: tunnels, underground stations and shafts, mechanical and electrical works, elevated sections and stations, ramps, architectural finishes etc. Transportation System scope: rolling stock, SCADA, signalling, passenger information system, power supply, control and maintenance centre etc. Stage 1 opening: 2036 (procurement expected to begin in 2026, following adoption of the construction act) Stage 2 opening: 2045 (procured under separate contracts) Project goals Reduce resources and climate impact – 50% CO₂ reduction target compared to the current metro network. Improve passenger experience and operational robustness – reliable, attractive services that promote public transport use. Enhance safety and working environment – zero-accident ambition for both construction and operations. Contribute to the city – integrate with and improve the urban environment, enhancing biodiversity.       Metroselskabet I/S needs civil works for the M5 Metroline South package in Copenhagen, Denmark, over a period of 9 years. This design & build contract, under ABT18 terms, involves the construction of approximately 6.5 km of twin bored TBM tunnels, 5 underground stations, 2 underground crossovers, 1 shaft, 5 cross passages, 1 ramp, approximately 2.0 km of viaduct, 1 elevated station, 1 viaduct cross-over, 1 elevated bifurcation, and short embankment sections. The M5 line is a fully automated driverless metro system designed to enhance passenger service and extend connectivity to emerging urban development areas. The contract will be awarded based on Price (50%) and Quality (50%), with Quality sub-criteria including Technical solution and planning (16%), Management and collaboration (16%), Organization and key personnel (10%), and Carbon (8%). To qualify, applicants must have completed one project demonstrating experience with design, construction, and project management of an underground metro project in the EEA and/or the UK, and one project demonstrating experience with design, construction, and project management of an above-ground metro project in the EEA and/or the UK, both within the last 15 years. Additionally, applicants must have an equity of no less than EUR 100,000,000.00 and a total annual turnover of at least EUR 1,700,000,000.00 in each of the last three completed financial years.
