The National Standards Authority of Ireland (NSAI) needs sales services for standards over 5 years, with a maximum total value of 10,000,000 EUR. The services involve publishing and selling copies of Irish Standards, as well as standards from international and European standardization organizations, a function that has been outsourced since 2009.

    About the bid

Under section 17 of the Act, the Contracting Authority is obliged to publish and place on sale copies of Irish Standards. In addition, through its membership of international and European standardisation organisations, the Contracting Authority is entitled to sell standards according to the rules of those organisations. Since 2009, the Contracting Authority has outsourced the largest part of its sales function to an external provider. The Contracting Authority wishes to put these services out to tender once more and therefore hereby invites experienced operators to submit tenders in respect of the provision of the Services specified in the draft Contract in accordance with this Request for Tenders (RFT).
