    Kerry Education and Training Board needs Mechanical and Electrical consultancy services for the installation of a Biomass boiler with LPG backup over 24 months, with a maximum total value of 800,000 EUR. The project involves replacing existing oil-fired boilers with a containerised Biomass boiler and LPG backup units in the existing boiler house, while retaining the current heat distribution system. The services, which include buying in additional services for other disciplines as required, are to be delivered in a live educational environment in Ireland, with a focus on energy efficiency, waste minimisation, and recycling practices.

    About the bid

      On behalf of Kerry Education and Training Board you are hereby invited to tender for Mechanical and Electrical services (including buying in of additional services for other disciplines as required) for the above project. The project consists of replacing the existing primary supply heat source, Oil fired boilers, with a Biomass boiler and LPG backup while retaining the existing heat distribution system. The works will be carried out in a live environment delivering educational training and services. The Biomass boiler is to be housed in a containerised setup with the backup LPG units contained in the existing boiler house. All upgrades requiring Mechanical and Electrical upgrades are to consider energy efficiency and the end user. All phases of the project are to implement waste minimisation and recycling practices.
