    An Post needs short-term vehicle hire services across six geographical regions for a duration of 9 years. The services are required to complement An Post's core leased fleet by providing flexible, rapid-access van capacity for short-notice fleet supplementation, seasonal volume peaks (particularly November–January), operational continuity for breakdowns, Road Traffic Collisions (RTCs), and Road Traffic Incidents (RTIs), delivery of a two-hour SLA response capability, and enhanced fleet agility as diesel vehicles are phased out and EV leasing expands.

      This is a call to competition by An Post for the Provision of Short-Term Vehicle Hire Services across six (6) geographical regions. An Post requires the services of suitably qualified and experienced service providers to provide a cost efficient and competent service. An Post requires short-term tactical vehicle hire services to complement its core leased fleet. These services will provide flexible, rapid-access van capacity: Short-notice fleet supplementation, Seasonal volume peaks (particularly November–January), Operational continuity for breakdowns, Road Traffic Collisions (RTCs), and Road Traffic Incidents (RTIs), Delivery of a two-hour SLA response capability (i.e. get vehicle back up and running, switch hire out), Enhanced fleet agility as diesel vehicles are phased out and EV leasing expands
