The services include providing qualified divers/surveyors, recording topography, identifying changes in structures and river channels, and providing factual reports reviewed by a Chartered Civil Engineer. The qualification system also covers inspections after major flood events. To qualify, suppliers must demonstrate expertise in health and safety and risk assessment plans, and provide qualified personnel for inspections and surveys.

9884 Qualification System for Surveys

Iarnród Eireann-Irish Rail needs survey services for its railway infrastructure, coastal area, and building assets for a duration of 7 years. The services are divided into three lots: intrusive surveys, non-intrusive surveys, and building surveying, and mechanical and electrical engineering consultants. This is a qualification system, and Iarnród Eireann-Irish Rail reserves the right to run tenders to establish single or multiparty framework agreements under this qualification system.

Iarnród Éireann currently has an existing Qualification System (QS) in place for building works which expires in April 2025. It is proposed to establish a 5-year qualification system (until April 2030) with an option to extend for up to 2 additional years (until April 2032) for the following lots: • Lot 1: Building Works up to €1M (Non-Heritage related) • Lot 2: Building Works up to €1M (Heritage related) • Lot 3: Building Works greater than €1M (Non-Heritage related) • Lot 4: Building Works greater than €1M (Heritage related)

9096 Qualification System for Civil Engineering Works €50k to €1m

Iarnród Éireann (IÉ) is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified applicants to establish a Qualification System for Civil Engineering associated with upgrading of the railway infrastructure and other related works that Iarnród Eireann may undertake directly or on behalf of Bus Eireann, Dublin Bus or CIE on their properties. The extent and details of these works will vary from location to location. The project works (from €50k up to value of €1M) shall be tendered to those Contractors approved for inclusion on this Qualification System. Examples of project works required may include but are not limited to any of the following: Any works required to facilitate construction of new platforms and/or extension and upgrading of existing platforms, Construction of footbridges and any associated lift installations, Any works required to facilitate construction of new car parks and/or extension and upgrading of existing car parks, Any works required to facilitate bridge widening, bridge replacement, bridge closures, road realignments, access roads etc, Construction of new over and underbridges, Alterations / maintenance to existing railway underbridges or overbridges, Embankment/cutting works including widening, strengthening and repair, Coastal defence works, Construction of roads, earthworks, drainage, boundary treatment and minor civil engineering works, Any works required to facilitate the installation of ducting / services routes / equipment cabinets etc. or relocation of services adjacent to the railway, Maintenance and demolition of existing railway structures / infrastructure, Works to existing and new OHLE support structures and infrastructure, Works to existing and new signalling support structures and infrastructure, Works to install new TPS (Train Protection System) infrastructure, Foundation works, ground engineering and geotechnical processes, All associated temporary works to ensure the continued operation of the railway.

Iarnród Eireann-Irish Rail needs services for a Qualification System for Railway Panel Dismantling and Ferrous Scrap Disposal over 5 years. The contract involves the purchase and removal of scrap materials that arise on an ad-hoc basis in various locations throughout the network, with services to be delivered in Dublin. Companies appointed must demonstrate full compliance with current Waste Management Regulations and possess the necessary Licences and Waste Permits.
