Brief

The Irish Blood Transfusion Service has entered into an agreement with Temple Heating ltd for the upgrade of the existing gas boiler central heating plant at the National Blood Centre, James’s Street, Dublin 8, D08 NH5R. The works include the replacement and upgrade of the existing Central Heating Gas Boiler cascade, new modifications to existing pipework, new pumps, controls, and electrical attendances, along with commissioning and handover of the new system. The contract also includes a 7-year maintenance agreement, making the total duration 10 years, with a final contract value of 275,651 €. Six bids were received for this contract.

  • The Irish Blood Transfusion Service (IBTS) wishes to invite suitably qualified mechanical contractors to tender for the upgrade of the Existing Gas Boiler central heating plant to their facility at the National Blood Centre, James’s Street, Dublin 8, D08 NH5R The works include the replacement and upgrade of the existing Central Heating Gas Boiler cascade on site to meet the space heating and domestic hot water demands at the facility. The upgrade will include new modifications to existing pipework, new pumps, controls, electrical attendances etc., along with the commissioning and hand over of the new gas boiler cascaded system. The Irish blood transfusion service will also request on successful install of tender project works that a 7 year maintenance contract will be agreed with the successful contractor.
