    Teagasc - the Agriculture and Food Development Authority has entered into an agreement with no pollution Industrial Systems Ltd. for the supply, delivery, installation, and commissioning of six respiration and calorimetry chambers suitable for cattle in Ireland, with a final contract value of 1,495,000 EUR. The equipment must allow full recovery of gases, and measurement of oxygen consumption and emissions of carbon dioxide and methane from individual animals. Two bids were received for this contract.

    About the bid

      Teagasc invites tenders for the Supply, Delivery, Installation and Commissioning of six respiration and calorimetry chambers that are suitable for cattle (primarily dairy breeds, both lactating and non-lactating). The equipment must allow full recovery of gases (close to 100 per cent), and measurement of oxygen consumption and emissions of carbon dioxide and methane from an individual animal.
