    About the bid

      The object of the procurement is a system solution that will be referred to as chip reader software below and that can be used to read microchips in passports and other travel documents and residence permits. A more detailed description of the procurement is provided in Annex 1 "Description of the Object of Procurement"Main features of the procedureThe products and services offered must comply with the content of the invitation to tender and its annexes. The tenderer must answer all all the questions asked and attach all requested documents to the tender.When reviewing the compliance of tenders with the invitation for tender, the tenders are reviewed as a whole. Tenders that fail to comply with the invitation to tender or the conditions laid down for the tendering procedure will be excluded from the tendering procedure. The comparison of tenders is made as described under "Other information" - "Criteria for decision making". The decisions on the contract are sent to all tenderers who have submitted a tender. A contract does not arise from a notification of procurement decision and always requires a separate, written contract.
