Norges Vassdrags- Og Energidirektorat (NVE) has entered into an agreement with Norges Geotekniske Institutt AS for the delivery of consultancy services for detailed modelling of displacement waves (tsunamis) generated by landslides in fjords and lakes. The services will be used for hazard and evacuation zones for unstable rock-slopes. The framework agreement has a duration of 2+1+1 years, with an estimated annual value between 0.8 million NOK and 2.4 million NOK, and a total maximum value of 12 million NOK. The purpose of the procurement is to enter into a contract for the purchase of consultancy services for detailed modelling of displacement waves (tsunamis) generated by landslides (large rock avalanches) in fjords and lakes. The wave runup will be used for hazard zones and in some cases evacuation zones for unstable rock-slopes that are monitored in real time.The value of the Framework Agreement is estimated to be between 0,8 MNOK to 2,4 MNOK excl. VAT per year. The total value of the agreement is estimated to be around 3,2 MNOK to 9,6 MNOK excl. VAT over the maximum contract period of 4 years, including extensions. The maximum contract value will be 12 MNOK.The framework agreement is valid for 2 years from the date of signing. The client has the option to extend the agreement on the same terms by 1+1 years. The maximum length of the framework agreement will be 4 years (2+1+1).
