The framework should study how a new, predominantly state-funded approach, administered by an entity/Department other than the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine (DAFM), could provide genuine additionality to relevant current land use policies and programmes, such as the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) 2028-2034, and other national funding streams. The goal is to ensure seamless delivery for farmers and public and private landowners while safeguarding public and European funding accountability. The project location is South-East Ireland.

    About the bid

This CfT seeks a suitably qualified contractor to develop a nature restoration framework for studying how a new, predominantly state-funded approach, administered by an entity/Department other than the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine (DAFM), could provide genuine additionality to relevant current land use policies and programmes, e.g. CAP. How should a new framework to support nature restoration and conservation be designed, structured, and administered to provide genuine additionality and complementarity to the Common Agricultural Policy 2028-2034, and other relevant national funding streams, while ensuring seamless delivery for farmers and public and private landowners whilst safeguarding public and European funding accountability.
