Design, Manufacture, Supply and Installation of the Liquid Nitrogen (LN2) Transfer Line System for the Super-FRS Experiment Area

FAIR - Facility for Antiproton and Ion Research in Europe GmbH needs the design, manufacture, supply, installation, and testing of a vacuum-insulated liquid nitrogen transfer system for the Super-FRS experiment area in Darmstadt, Germany, over a duration of 12 months. The base scope includes approximately 200 m of transfer line connecting the tank area to HI/DESPEC and FHF1, with an option for an additional 120 m and one valve box for FHF2. The system must deliver 25 l/min of LN2 at 77 K, with specific pressure requirements. The contractor's scope includes thermal and hydraulic calculations, supports, thermal contraction compensation, AD 2000 and PED compliance, factory and site acceptance testing, and technical documentation. Award criteria are Price (30%), Delivery schedule concept (28%), Technical design (21%), and Installation and execution concept (21%). Qualification requirements include a Bidder Consortium Declaration, a Business and Professional Liability Declaration with a sum insured covering at least the order value, a Declaration of Availability for subcontractors, and descriptions of three comparable reference projects demonstrating experience in manufacturing vacuum insulated cryogenic transfer lines longer than 25m and experience on major construction sites, ideally at research facilities and accelerator installations. Additionally, a certificate demonstrating components designed and tested in accordance with AD 2000 and the Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU, a Self-Declaration Data Protection Requirements, and a Self-Declaration of Compliance with ISO 9001 (or equivalent) are required.

Cold Terminals für SIS100 QDM

Die GSI Helmholtzzentrum für Schwerionenforschung GmbH benötigt die Lieferung von bis zu 532 Stromadaptern (Cold Terminals) aus supraleitendem Material für den Betrieb im SIS100-Teilchenbeschleuniger in Darmstadt, mit einer Vertragslaufzeit von 24 Monaten. Diese Stromadapter sind für einen Betriebsstrom von 250 A bei ca. 4.5 K ausgelegt und verbinden die Stromzuführung aus Hochtemperatursupraleiter mit der Magnetspule. Die Fertigung erfolgt nach vom Auftraggeber bereitgestellten Zeichnungen, und jeder Adapter muss eine Werksabnahme mit Hochspannungsprüfungen und Tests in Flüssigstickstoff unter Betriebsstrom bestehen. Die Zuschlagskriterien sind Preis (40 %), technisches Konzept Fertigung (21 %), technisches Konzept Testing (21 %), Konzept zum Aufgreifen von technischen Änderungswünschen (6 %) und Lieferzeit/Verpackung (12 %). Qualifikationsanforderungen umfassen eine Betriebshaftpflichtversicherung, eine Eigenerklärung zur Einhaltung der ISO 9001 (oder gleichwertig) und die Beschreibung von drei vergleichbaren Referenzprojekten, die nachweisbare Erfahrungen mit der prozesssicheren Verarbeitung von Epoxy-Klebstoffen und der reproduzierbaren Lötung von Hochtemperatur-Supraleitern, den Umgang mit flüssigem Stickstoff und das Testen supraleitender Materialien bei tiefen Temperaturen sowie Isolationsmessungen bei Gleichspannungen bis 1500 V belegen.

Helium Refrigeration System (HRS) for Isotope Separation System (ISS) of ITER Fuel Cycle
