Brief
Technische Universiteit Delft needs a future-proof current research information system (CRIS), including implementation and migration from its existing system, for approximately 3,100 users. The system must manage and distribute a reliable collection of current and historical research outputs, support high-quality metadata, interoperability and integration with other data sources, and provide reporting, analysis and dissemination tools while meeting national and international standards. The maximum total contract value is €600,000, and the project is located in Delft and Westland; the contract duration and renewal options are not specified in the notice information. Evaluation awards up to 45 points for functionality, 25 for implementation, 15 for innovation and ongoing partnership, and 15 for the annual per-user licence fee; implementation/migration and portal functionality are separately priced but carry no stated evaluation points.

From the notice
The current procurement process aims to identify a future-proof CRIS solution that aligns with TU Delft’s evolving needs, including enhanced interoperability, improved metadata quality, and support for a wider range of research outputs. The system must facilitate the management of high-quality data related to research information, robust data integration with other sources, reporting tools, while ensuring compliance with national and international standards. TU Delft wants to continue to build a high-quality collection of academic (research) outputs that is indicative of the TU Delft academic vision, goals and ambitions over the course of time. The CRIS is the system in which this collection is managed and distributed to other sources, and it serves as a reliable single resource for current and previous TU Delft outputs. This enables the sharing of metadata within the broader infrastructure of TU Delft, as well as internal reporting, analysis and dissemination. The CRIS has a current population of approximately 3100 users
