    About the bid

Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified individual or organisation to develop, manage and deliver the Forest School programme within the ACBCBC area. This project will be delivered under PEACEPLUS thematic strand 2, Thriving and Peaceful Communities and falls under the Building Positive Relationships theme of our Local Action Plan. The Forest Schools Programme builds on the success of the PEACE IV Forest Schools model. It will use outdoor, nature-based learning to support the holistic development of children, young people and adults across the Borough. The programme will provide opportunities for children, young people and communities, particularly those from socially deprived, marginalised or segregated areas, to explore natural environments, learn together, build relationships and take part in positive shared experiences.
