Introduction to EIFO: EIFO was established as an independent public enterprise pursuant to Act No. 871 of 21 June 2022 on Denmark’s Export and Investment Fund (the “EIFO Act”). EIFO serves as Denmark’s official export credit agency (ECA) and national promotional bank (NPB). In this capacity, EIFO supports Danish companies at different stages of development, ranging from start-ups and SMEs with growth ambitions to established export companies seeking financing for international expansion and entry into new markets.
