Brief

The Road Safety Authority (RSA) has cancelled the competition for the provision of the Nationwide Road Safety Education Service, with the intention to revise some requirements and publish a new Request for Tender (RFT) in due course. The original tender had an estimated maximum total contract value of 11,000,000 EUR over 108 months, with award criteria based on 70% quality and 30% cost.

  • The RSA recently published a Contract Notice for the provision of the Nationwide Road Safety Education Service to the RSA. The RSA has decided to collapse the competition and revise some of its requirements. The RSA intends to publish the revised RFT on eTenders and in OJEU in due course.

    The National Transport Authority (NTA) is further expanding and enhancing the public transport network. The NTA would like to remind Transport Operators that they can register for tender competitions here for TFI Local Link services at any time. Tender competitions will include the new and enhanced Connecting Ireland routes along with re-tendering of TFI Local Link Regular Rural Services (RRS) and the Demand Responsive Services (DRT), along with some urban services, which will operate under the TFI Local Link brand in provincial towns.
