    About the bid

The SIS100 Feed Box system is part of local cryogenics system for the SIS100 synchrotron at FAIR. The Feed Box system distributes the cooling power to the SIS100 magnets and Current Lead Boxes by flow of cold helium in different thermodynamic states, including liquid, vapor, supercritical and cold gas for thermal shielding of the low temperature circuits, including a phase separator with a sub-cooler (PED, cat 4) and ca. 30 cold valves (DN6- DN100).

    Award Criteria

    • Description

Consideration of the price through the valuation method "Preis-Quotient-Methode"

    • Description

It is particularly important to the client that an understanding of the problem is evident. The proposed solutions are presented and explained as being effective. A high level of detail in the proposed solutions is to be viewed positively. The tender documents must allow conclusions to be drawn regarding compliance with the specifications.

    • Description

It is particularly important to the client that the bidder pursues a coherent communication concept that ensures that the project progress can be controlled effectively and efficiently and that the client is involved in the sub-processes (e.g. regular coordination meetings, video conferences, reports, well-defined group of participants). Furthermore, the bidder should present a concept for internal quality assurance (e.g. incoming goods inspection, standards applied, etc.)

    • Description

It is particularly important to the client that the bidder provides a schedule for planning, production, delivery and installation that is comprehensible to the client. A binding commitment to adhere to the deadlines specified in the attached delivery schedule will be viewed positively. Earlier deadlines will be viewed particularly positively. The project planning must take into account an appropriate amount of time for the design phase to allow for sufficient communication and involvement of the client. In addition, the bidder's approach in the event of delays in delivery and performance by subcontractors will be evaluated. The bidder should describe how sufficient communication and the involvement of the client will be ensured during the model adaptation phase.

    • Description

It is particularly important to the client that the solution offered fully meets the specifications and explains how the specified parameters will be achieved. Furthermore, it will be viewed positively if the solution offered offers technical advantages over the specifications. The key challenges have been identified and effective solutions have been proposed.
