    Niras Finland Oy tarvitsee rakennusurakan Forestry and Wood Industries Training Centren (FWITC) tehtaan laajennukseen Mafingassa, Tansaniassa. Hankkeen arvioitu kokonaisarvo on enintään 140 000 euroa. Laajennus käsittää uuden ensisijaisen jalostustehtaan rakentamisen, joka tarjoaa katettua teollisuustilaa raskaiden tukkien käsittelyyn ja puunjalostuskoneille. Tarjoajien tulee olla rekisteröityjä urakoimaan kyseisiä töitä sopimusmaassa. Tarjoukset arvioidaan laadun (60 %) ja hinnan (40 %) perusteella.

Combining FORVAC and PFP,FORLAND aims to improve upon the outcomes of both initiativesThe Forestry and Wood IndustriesTraining Centre (FWITC) in Mafinga serves as the project’s central innovation hub, training centre, anddemonstration facility. Strengthening FWITC will involve upgrading equipment, developing newengineered wood products, and enhancing institutional capacity to support SME technologyuptake.As part of the FWITC upgrades, a new primary processing factory building will be constructedto provide covered industrial space for heavy log breakdown and timber processing machinery.
