    Evropská agentura pro kosmický program (European Union Agency for the Space Programme) změnila smlouvu se společností Thales Alenia Space Italia S.p.A. na dodávku inženýrské technické asistence (SETA) pro systém G2 ve fázi CDE, jejímž cílem je podpora ESA na systémové úrovni v její roli systémového architekta pro druhou generaci Galileo a přechod k ní od PDR systému k CDR systému a následně až po systémové testy a kvalifikaci systémových sestav.
