Headspace GC-MS
Gasskromatografi og analyseinstrumenter
Danmarks Tekniske Universitet - DTU needs a new Headspace GC-MS system for the analysis of volatile compounds (approximately C3-C44), to be delivered in the Copenhagen area within 2026, with a maximum total value of 1,800,000 DKK. The system must connect a robot system with automated dynamic headspace and liquid injection, and an automatic thermal desorption unit for Tenax tubes, with included software licenses for all components. Tenders will be evaluated based on Price (30%), GC-MS system (15%), Robotic system (15%), Automatic thermic desorption unit (15%), Computer and software (10%), and Service (15%). Suppliers must provide at least 2 references for comparable agreements (value of at least 1,000,000 DKK for GC-MS or comparable equipment) that are no more than 3 years old.

This tender comprises DTU's intended procurement of a new GC-MS to be used for the analysis of volatile compounds (approximately C3-C44). The GC-MS must be able to connect the following units so that it is possible to choose which unit feeds the volatiles into the GC: 1) Robot system with the possibility of automated dynamic headspace and liquid injection, 2) Automatic thermal desorption unit for thermal desorption of volatiles collected on Tenax tubes. Software licenses must be included for GC-MS and the 2 described devices. For further details, please be referred to the Requirements Specification in the tender material. Delivery is to take place within 2026.Main features of the procedureTenderers may only participate in this tender if they are not encompassed by any of the grounds for exclusion and if they comply with DTU’s minimum requirements for suitability. Any tenderer that meets these conditions for participation may submit a tender.

Award Criteria
Description
The price to be evaluated is the Total Tender Price, specified in Appendix 2 – Prices. DTU uses a linear point scale model to evaluate the Tenderers’ prices. The linear model implies that the offered prices are converted into points, and the offered prices are awarded points on a scale from 0-10. Thus, lowest price is awarded maximum points 10, while prices that are 100% or more expensive / higher than the lowest price are awarded 0 points. Other prices in between are awarded points according to linear interpolation. If more than one of the tenders are awarded 0 points, the threshold for 0 points is adjusted upwards by 5 percentage points until only one tenderer is awarded 0 points. However, the threshold for 0 points will not be adjusted to higher than 200 %. If all tenders deviate by less than 10 % from the lowest price, the threshold for 0 points changes by 5 percentage points in the downward direction until a minimum of 1 tender is below 9 points. However, the threshold for 0 points will not be adjusted to less than 50 %. The above is an expression of the economic sub-criterion being assessed relatively, which means that the offers are assessed against each other.
