Brief
SCK CEN Stichting van Openbaar Nut heeft behoefte aan de engineering, het ontwerp, de inkoop, de fabricage, de installatie en de inbedrijfstelling van de HELIOS-Pb-faciliteit. Dit betreft een turn-key project waarbij de aannemer het gehele proces van ontwerp tot oplevering beheert, en een compleet, gebruiksklaar product of faciliteit levert. De installatie, onderdeel van het SMR-LFR-programma, zal een vloeibaar loodfaciliteit van het pooltype zijn, geschikt voor het creëren en handhaven van gecontroleerde thermische en chemische omstandigheden die representatief zijn voor loodgekoelde reactoromgevingen. Het systeem moet betrouwbaar kunnen werken in het nominale temperatuurbereik van 380–430 °C, uitbreidbaar tot 500 °C. De gunningscriteria zullen in detail worden uiteengezet in de specificaties (tweede fase van de aanbestedingsprocedure).

From the notice
This assignment concerns the engineering & design, procurement, manufacturing, installation and commissioning of the HELIOS-Pb facility based on the conceptual design provided by the client. For SCK CEN this represents a turn-key project: the contractor will manage the entire process from design to delivery, providing a complete, ready-to-use product or facility for the contracting authority. The installation (part of the SMR-LFR program) will be a pool-type liquid lead facility capable of establishing and maintaining controlled thermal and chemical conditions representative of lead-cooled reactor environments. The system shall enable reliable operation in the nominal temperature range of 380–430 °C, extendable up to 500 °C.
