    The European Commission, DEFIS Defence Industry and Space, DEFIS.C.2 Satellite Navigation, located in Belgium, has entered into an agreement with INDRA ESPACIO, S.L.U. for the delivery of telecommunications equipment and accessories, specifically for the G2G Uplink Station (ULS) product, with a duration of 4 years and a total value of 69,900,000 €. The procurement aims to develop a self-standing G2G ULS product, which will eventually integrate into the overall GSEG development team. Two bids were received for this contract.

    About the bid

      The G2G GSEG (Galileo Second Generation Ground Segment) procurement is initiated with the objective to procure a self-standing development of the G2G Uplink Station (ULS) product. The G2G ULS Contractor will eventually become an Agile Train as part of the overall GSEG development team; when the procurement to integrate the G2G ULS to the overall GSEG will be initiated. At that time, the G2G ULS product development artefact will be required to fully migrate into the and finalized in the Development environment put in place by the GSEG integrator. Such integration and adaptation of the G2G ULS will be covered by another procurement.
