    Brief

    The Finnish Patent and Registration Office (later PRH) aims to procure a validator to validate iXBRL financial statements and a Web-based inline XBRL instance document creation solution. PRH may ask tenders either from the validator or the web-based instance creation solution or both. Primarily, the procurement aims at an on-premise solution. PRH receives approximately 270 000 financial statements annually. In 2022 about 5 000 of them were filed in iXBRL-form. The validator has to be able to validate all of the 270 000 financial statements for it to be future-proof. Annual report must be filed for most legal entities to PRH within 8 months after the financial period ends. Around 70% of financial periods end at the end of calendar year. About 10 000 to 20 000 financial statements are filed monthly, but on the busiest month even up to 70 000 financial statements are registered. The purpose of RFI (request for information) is to discuss the draft versions of Call for Tenders and its annexes before publishing of the final Call for Tenders. Interested tenderers are given the opportunity to comment on the draft material in writing. The materials will be sent by e-mail. The draft materials are scheduled to be processed at the end of March 2023. Please note that this document is not a Call for Tenders. This document serves as a Prior Information Notice. All the information provided in this Prior Information Notice is preliminary and indicative prior information.
