    De Europese Commissie, DG JRC - Joint Research Centre, heeft een overeenkomst gesloten met PPMI Group, UAB voor de levering van wetenschappelijke analyse en advies over gendergelijkheid in de Europese Unie. Het contract heeft een looptijd van 4 jaar en een totale waarde van 2.389.979 €. Het doel is om betrouwbaar, onafhankelijk en rigoureus wetenschappelijk bewijs te verzamelen ter ondersteuning van de kennisbasis van de Commissie op het gebied van gendergelijkheid, wat zal bijdragen aan beleidsanalyse, beleidsontwikkeling, voorbereiding van politieke initiatieven, uitbreidingsonderhandelingen en politieke samenwerking op Europees niveau.     • The overall objective of the contract is to collect reliable, independent, and rigorous scientific evidence to strengthen the Commission's knowledge base, including its country-specific knowledge in the gender equality area. This knowledge base will support the European Commission in policy analysis and policy development, preparation of political initiatives, enlargement negotiations and political cooperation at European level.
