Brief
Karolinska Institutet needs a broad range of life science laboratory products through a multi-supplier framework agreement, with a maximum total value of SEK 1.1 billion. Deliveries are for its scientific work in Stockholm County and include high-purity laboratory materials such as cells, enzymes, antibodies, nucleic-acid handling reagents, media, primers, probes, extraction kits and other biological products. All suppliers meeting the mandatory requirements will be admitted to the framework agreement. The previous comparable agreement was awarded to a large group of suppliers, including GenScript Biotech (Netherlands) B.V., VWR International AB, Merck Life Science AB, Fisher Scientific GTF AB and QIAGEN AB.

KI has a broad and continuously changing demand for life science products. Therefore, the purpose of this procurement is to establish a large multi-supplier Framework Agreement. All suppliers fulfilling the mandatory requirements will be admitted to the Framework Agreement. KI conducts large‑scale, high‑precision scientific work that requires a continuous supply of reliable and high‑purity laboratory materials. These include, but are not limited to, cells, enzymes, antibodies, nucleic‑acid handling reagents, media, primers, probes, extraction kits and various biological materials.
