Brief
Kystdirektoratet needs services for monitoring anthropogenic continuous low-frequency underwater noise in Danish marine waters over 6 years, with a maximum total value of 4.8 million DKK. The monitoring aims to assess noise levels, spatial distribution, and temporal development, and must be carried out according to the technical guideline "Kontinuerlig undervandsstøj – M32 (Tougaard, 2019a)" to ensure data comparability with previous and other EU Member States' monitoring programs. The project requires reporting data to relevant databases for assessing good environmental status under the MSFD and other regional sea conventions. DCE/Aarhus Universitet likely has a similar contract today.
