The contract has a duration of 2 years, with an option for an additional 1 year, and an estimated yearly volume of around 70,000 products, with a maximum total value of 300,000 EUR. The muesli must be portion-packed, shelf-stable at room temperature, weigh between 90-120g, contain a minimum of 425 kcal and at least 50% oats. It must also be free from nuts and lactose, and the packaging must be water-resistant and include consumer information in Finnish, Swedish, and English. The product needs to achieve a minimum of 6 points in a flavour assessment.

Leijona Catering Oy uses muesli as part of ambient product solutions. Muesli is part of multiple different meals, which are usually served in operational field conditions. We are seeking a delivery contact supplier for a 2-year contract period (the contract remains valid for one (1) year after the two (2) year initial period unless terminated with written notice). The delivery contract does not grant exclusive rights to supply the product in question. The supplier supplies the goods in large batches for Leijona Catering. Products must be portion packed and must fulfil the presented technical requirements. Estimated yearly volume is around 70 000 products. However, Leijona Catering is not obligated to buy any products from selected supplier. Leijona is allowed to purchase similar products from the selected supplier under this delivery contract. Eligible tender needs to offer two (2) different flavours, all of the flavours must fulfil the requirements. Weight of the transportation box cannot exceed 400 kg. Transportation box needs to withstand storage handling and transportation by food delivery fleet. If the transportation box is over 20 kg, it needs to be delivered on a top of a pallet. Non-permitted ingredients (“may contain ...” is permitted): Nuts Lactose Required features of the product: Product must be shelf-stable at room temperature. The product needs to receive minimum of 6 points from flavour assessment (in scale of 1-9 points), to be eligible. Flavour, appearance and texture will be evaluated in the flavour assessment by a group of end users. Minimum shelf-life (from point of delivery): 26 months, 36 months from point of manufacturing Product weight: 90-120g Minimum energy contents: 425 kcal Oat contents: Minimum of 50% Product package must endure water (even boiling water). The product packaging must include standard consumer information in Finnish, Swedish, and English (optional). The product packaging must not contain any direct or indirect messaging unrelated to the product.Main features of the procedureThe procurement will not be divided into parts. The supplier must be able to deliver the entire procurement. The contracting authority justifies this decision as follows: -More efficient management and monitoring of the supplier network -More efficient contract management and monitoring All costs related to preparing and submitting the offer, as well as any costs incurred by the supplier from clarifications, negotiations, etc., that may arise later, are entirely the supplier's responsibility. Under no circumstances can claims for these costs be made against the buyer.
