Fintraffic Vessel Traffic Services Ltd is planning a procurement related to the delivery of coastal VDES (VHF Data Exchange System) base stations. Fintraffic is conducting a market dialogue to collect information about: - available VDES base station technologies and technical solutions, - technical requirements and implementation options and - potential maintenance and lifecycle service models. PURPOSE OF THE MARKET DIALOGUE: The goal of this market dialogue is to gain insight into available market solutions/ suppliers and prepare the technical and functional requirements of the procurement. The outcomes of the dialogue may influence the final scope and timeline of the upcoming procurement. IMPLEMENTATION AND SCHEDULE The market dialogue will be carried out between March and April in 2026 through the following activities: - Written responses to the questionnaire (supplier information form) - Possible teams- meetings with selected suppliers. Participation is voluntary and does not create any obligation for either party. PARTICIPATION Interested suppliers are invited to express their interest by filling in a form behind the URL address: https://forms.office.com/e/PbemmWWT2C Please include the following information: - Written responses to the Forms questionnaire (supplier information form) same questions are included in attached PDF-file - Indication of interest to participate in teams-meeting. Suppliers expressing interest are asked to submit their responses to the questions prior to any potential Teams meetings. NOTES Please note that this notice is solely a Request for Information. It is not a formal call for tenders, and this publication does not obligate the contracting authority to launch a tender or take any further action. Participation in the market dialogue is voluntary, and the contracting authority will not provide any compensation for participation. Participation in the market dialogue will not affect the supplier’s position in future competitions.
