Kustbevakningen har inngått en avtale med Boomeranger Boats Oy for nybygging av RHIB-er av typene Coastal Patrol Boats (CPB) og Interceptors, med en total kontraktsverdi på 220 millioner svenske kroner. Avtalen omfatter bygging av 9 enheter av CPB, som skal operere hovedsakelig i åpne havområder, og 5 enheter av Interceptors, som skal operere i mer beskyttede områder. Det ble mottatt 9 tilbud i konkurransen.

  • The goal with this procurement is to sign contract with a contractor for the new build of RHIB’s of the types Coastal Patrol Boats (CPB) (9 units) and Interceptors (5 units). The CPB shall be designed to mainly operate in open sea areas whilst the Interceptor shall operate in more protected areas.
