Das Institute of Science and Technology Austria hat mit Femtonics ltd einen Vertrag über die Lieferung eines Optophysiology Multiphoton Mikroskops im Wert von 1.082.024 € abgeschlossen. Das Mikroskop soll der Imaging and Optics Facility zur Messung von Gehirnaktivität in lebenden Organismen mittels fortschrittlicher Multi-Photonen-Bildgebung in Kombination mit visueller oder optogenetischer Stimulation dienen. Die Vertragslaufzeit beträgt 18 Monate.

  • The imaging and Optics Facility is to purchase an Optophysiology Multi Photon Microscope as a new technology to facilitate the measurement of brain activity - in the form of Calcium and/or voltage changes in living organisms - using advanced multi-photon imaging applications in combinatoin with visual or optogenetic stimulation.
