Brief
Danmarks Tekniske Universitet (DTU) needs at least 27 PCR thermal cyclers for its research laboratories, within a maximum total budget of DKK 1.6 million excluding VAT and including delivery and all other costs. At least 22 units must have independently controlled sample-well blocks to run different PCR protocols simultaneously; the equipment will support conventional and colony PCR, genotyping, cloning and construct verification, DNA and cDNA amplification, and other molecular biology research workflows. Suppliers must provide separate unit prices for models with multi-independent and single-sample well blocks, and deliver all units by the stated deadline.

From the notice
DTU requires a minimum of 27 PCR thermal cyclers for molecular biology research applications. Of these, at least 22 units must feature multi-independent sample well blocks, enabling independent temperature control and simultaneous execution of different PCR protocols. The equipment is intended to replace existing thermal cyclers currently used for routine and ad-vanced PCR workflows across DTU's research laboratories. The equipment will be used for applications including, but not limited to: • Conventional PCR • Colony PCR • Genotyping • Cloning and construct verification • Amplification of DNA and cDNA • Research-based molecular biology workflows. The maximum total budget is DKK 1,600,000, exclusive of VAT, inclusive of all costs, including de-livery DPP. The tenderer must state the unit price for both: • PCR thermal cyclers with multi-independent sample well blocks. • PCR thermal cyclers with single-sample well blocks. The tenderer must be able to supply a minimum of 27 PCR thermal cyclers within the maximum total budget of DKK 1,600,000, exclusive of VAT and inclusive of all costs. Of the minimum 27 PCR thermal cyclers, at least 22 must be equipped with multi-independent sample well blocks. Failure to meet the minimum quantity requirements, the requirement to provide separate unit prices for both types of PCR thermal cyclers, or the maximum budget requirement will result in the tender being considered non-compliant and therefore rejected. Delivery of all PCR thermal cyclers must be completed no later than 31 December 2026.
