Brief
The Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland has awarded Gemserv Limited a 24-month services contract, worth €257,313, to complete the design of the Support Scheme for District Heating and prepare it for final government approval and launch. The work includes developing an end-to-end framework covering financial, economic, commercial, technical, legal and governance processes, ensuring compliance with EU State Aid requirements, and designing an efficient, scalable capital-support programme for construction and pre-construction. The award considered the proposed methodology and understanding, the assigned team’s relevant expertise and capacity, quality and contract-management approaches, sustainability, and cost. Six bids were received.
