At site Number 2- Drogheda landfill, there are two sumps used for pumping sewage and surface water. Both have a duty and standby pumps and associated control panels. At the flare compound there are electrical sockets and electrical panel which operates an air compressor. At site Number 3-Dundalk landfill there is one sump with a duty and standby pump plus associated control panel which pumps to the sewer. All sites will require one full electrical test during the duration of the contract and testing of RCBO’s every six months. Ropes and chains are tested every six months.
