    Laboratorie- og analyseutstyr

The University of Helsinki needs a radioanalytical pyrolyser/sample combustion system for a 12-month contract to prepare environmental, decommissioning, and radioactive-waste related samples for the determination of volatile radionuclides, specifically H-3 and C-14, and preferably also Cl-36 and I-129. The system should be capable of processing at least 6 samples per working day, with the ability to handle larger sample masses or combine multiple preparations for low-activity samples. The award criteria are Price (50%) and Quality (50%).

    About the bid

A radioanalytical pyrolyser / sample combustion system will be acquired for the Faculty of Science, University of Helsinki. The system will be used for preparation of environmental, decommissioning, and radioactive-waste related samples for determination of volatile radionuclides, particularly H-3 and C-14, and preferably also Cl-36 and I-129. Expected sample matrices include environmental materials, ion-exchange resins, sludges, concrete, and other solid or liquid materials. The intended routine workload is at least 6 samples per working day, with higher throughput sometimes required. The system should be capable of use with low-activity samples; therefore, the ability to process larger sample masses and/or combine multiple preparations into a single measurement fraction is advantageous.

Laboratory scale hydrogen membrane separation unit

The University of Oulu needs a compact laboratory-scale hydrogen membrane separation and characterization system for research activities related to hydrogen purification, gas separation processes, and membrane performance evaluation. The system, which should be delivered as a complete turnkey solution including hardware, software, documentation, commissioning, and training, must be suitable for installation and operation inside a laboratory fume hood with active ventilation of 0.3 m/s. It should support flexible research by enabling precise control of gas composition, flow, and pressure, provide reliable and reproducible experimental data, and facilitate membrane separation experiments, integrity verification, and safe operation with hydrogen-containing gas mixtures. The system must also have automated monitoring, process control, and data acquisition capabilities, and be designed for future integration of external equipment like humidification and vacuum systems. The maximum total value for the system, including all mandatory features, cannot exceed 100,000 Euros (0% VAT). The project is co-funded by the EU Just Transition Fund (JTF) and the Council of Oulu region, and the procurement is conditional upon the receipt of external funding. The contract duration is 6 months.
