Reception and final treatment of impregnated wood/CCA
BIR AS needs services for the reception and final treatment of approximately 400 tonnes of impregnated wood/CCA annually, with a maximum total value of 4 million NOK over 4 years. The services are primarily required during two annual audit periods (April/May and August/September) when BIR's incineration plant is unavailable, but may also be needed at other times. The waste will be delivered from BIR Nyverdi AS's 13 environmental stations, including those in BIR Voss and Hardanger. Award criteria are Annual total cost (70%) and Environmental considerations (30%), where environmental considerations evaluate the portion of received volume that is reused/recycled (max 10 points), burned for district heating/electricity (max 5 points), or landfilled (0 points).

The supplier of the waste type is BIR Nyverdi AS at its 13 environmental stations (including stations in BIR Voss and Hardanger.) The scope of the service consists of receiving and final processing services. The scope of the delivery will be approx. 400 tonnes per annum. Normally the waste is burned at the Contracting Authority at the incineration plant in Rådalen. During two annual audits, from April/May and August/September respectively, it is necessary to have access to another delivery channel. The scope of the delivery therefore includes volume that cannot be processed or stored itself during ongoing audits at the incineration plant. As an exception, there may be a need to use the service beyond the audit periods, but then in close dialogue between the contracting authority and the contracting authority. The terms in this agreement will apply unless otherwise agreed. The framework in the tender will then be increased equivalently.

Annual total cost is calculated as follows: Stated unit price * 400,000 kg + deviation charge * 30 items In addition and if relevant include: Transport to the reception location located outside Bergen, Askøy, Øygarden municipality * * When calculating the annual cost, BIR will take its own and continual transport contracts into consideration that the company is obliged to use. These cover delivery locations in Bergen, Øygarden and Askøy municipalities. If a reception facility is offered outside Bergen municipality, this will result in increased transport costs for the Contracting Authority. These additional costs will be attributed to the annual cost. Increased transport costs will be calculated according to an hourly rate of 1400 (car and driver) + any tolls and ferry expenses. Roundtrip transport will be included in the calculation.
