    About the bid

      The Department of Enterprise, Tourism and Employment wishes to commission a comprehensive programme of research, analysis, international benchmarking and stakeholder engagement to establish the evidence base required for an ambitious long-term vision for the Food and Drink Industry. This work will examine the drivers of productivity, competitiveness, innovation, sustainability and export growth, while identifying structural challenges and emerging opportunities across the value chain. The analysis will inform a strategic roadmap, to be developed by the Department of Enterprise, Tourism and Employment, aimed at significantly increasing the sector's Gross Value Added (GVA) over the next 10 to 15 years.
