    The European Commission, DG CLIMA - Climate Action, has entered into a framework agreement with L’Air Liquide Belge S.A.-NV for the supply of technical gases, rental of gas recipients, and other related services in Belgium. The contract, with an estimated maximum total value of 580,000 EUR, has a duration of 4 years. The services include the supply of compressed gas in cylinders or frames, including delivery and return transport, and the rental of cylinders and/or frames, with a requirement for an application to track cylinders. It also covers the rental of fixed and mobile tanks for liquefied gases and the bulk supply of liquefied Nitrogen and Argon, with some tanks needing to be equipped with an evaporator and a remote monitoring system for automatic refill warnings. For liquefied Nitrogen, the supply in bulk within a secured perimeter and the rental of fixed and/or mobile tanks with remote monitoring are also included.

    About the bid

      JRC-Geel has the intention to set up a framework contract for supply of technical gasses, rental of gas recipients and other services. The contract consists of two main parts: The supply of compressed gas in cylinders or frames, including the delivery and return transport and the rental of the cylinders and/or frames. The contractor is also asked to foresee an application allowing to track the cylinders and the rental of fixed and mobile tanks for the storage of liquefied gasses and the supply in bulk of liquefied Nitrogen and Argon. Some of these tanks are to be equipped with an evaporator and with a remote monitoring system, warning the contractor automatically of the need for refill. Part 2 of the contract : The supply of liquefied Nitrogen in bulk within a secured perimeter and the rental of fixed and/or mobile tanks for the storage of liquefied Nitrogen and the supply in bulk of liquefied Nitrogen. This tank (or mobile tanks) is to be equipped with a remote monitoring system, warning the contractor automatically of the need for refill.
