  • Reason and general goals Digital Vehicle Analysis (DVA) is defined as gathering the manufacturer’s information that is digitally available in the vehicle, and analysing this for content and consistency. The primary goal is to support in determining the vehicle’s identity. In addition, the damage information that is digitally available in the vehicle can be used to determine whether and to what extent a vehicle is a damaged vehicle.Main features of the procedureThe RDW is putting out a European tender in accordance with the ‘Open Tender’ procedure in conformity with the provisions of the Dutch Public Procurement Act 2012 encompassing rules for awarding government contracts for works, supplies and services. Pursuant to the Dutch Public Procurement Act 2012, the RDW will decide on the basis of objective criteria: a. The choice for the Contractor or Contractors that are admitted to the Tender Procedure; b. The choice for the manner in which the RDW intends to enter into the Agreement.
