Energidepartementet trenger en konsulenttjeneste for å utarbeide en rapport som gir en oppdatert oversikt og kartlegging av statusen for ulike reaktorteknologier og kraftverksdesign, inkludert teknologisk modenhet, estimert tidslinje for implementering og kommersiell tilgjengelighet, samt kostnader knyttet til konstruksjon, drift og fleksibel operasjon. Oppdraget inkluderer også en komparativ vurdering av forsyningskjede-sårbarheter og avfallshåndtering, med fokus på å beskrive og vurdere usikkerheter og forventede tidslinjer. Leveransene skal deles inn i en delrapport, en foreløpig rapport og en sluttrapport, og oppdraget skal være ferdigstilt innen 15. oktober 2025. Konsulenten skal delta i møter med kommisjonen, inkludert et innledende møte, et statusmøte og et møte for å presentere sluttresultatet. The Nuclear Commission wishes to aquire an external consultancy report providing an updated overview and mapping of the status of various reactor technologies and power plant designs, including their technological maturity, estimated timeline for implementation and commercial availability, construction and operational costs, and their ability for flexible operation and associated costs. The commission also seeks a comparative assessment of supply chain vulnerabilities and waste management. Although the commission desires the consultant's best estimate of these aspects, the analysis should focus on describing and assessing the uncertainties related to these aspects and the expected timelines. The assignment is to commence as soon as possible. The assignment should result in a report and presentation of the proposal to the commission. The deliverables should be divided into a partial report, a preliminary report, and a final report. The assignment is to be delivered by October 15, 2025. The consultant is to participate in meetings with the commission as agreed, but at a minimum, an initial meeting, a status meeting, and a meeting to present the final result. The estimated value of the procurement is from NOK 1,000,000 excluding VAT to NOK 1,290,000 excluding VAT. The estimate is not binding for the client.
