    Oulun yliopisto needs an ultracentrifuge and associated rotors for a 3-year contract, with a maximum total value of 100,000 EUR. The system is intended for Biocenter Oulu's Proteomics and protein analysis core facility infrastructure and will be used to separate biological macromolecules, extracellular vesicles, lipid nanoparticles, and other (bio)nanoparticles. The centrifuge must be suitable for preparative ultracentrifugation, capable of reaching a maximum speed of at least 80,000 rpms, and include a fixed angle rotor with g values of at least 230,000 g, another fixed angle rotor with g values of at least 300,000 g, and a swinging bucket rotor with at least 250,000 g. The system must be easy to use and maintain, include a user interface, and be well-suited for an academic multi-user environment. The award criterion is the total price, with a weight of 100 points.

      Biocenter Oulu, University of Oulu, seeks an ultracentrifuge and associated rotors to separate biological macromolecules (mainly proteins), extracellular vesicles (EVs), lipid nano particles (LNP), and other (bio)nanoparticles. The system will be part of the Proteomics and protein analysis core facility infrastructure of Biocenter Oulu. The core facility has an open access policy, and the instrumentation and software must be easy to use and maintain. The device must include a user interface to control the operation. The device must be well suited to an academic multi-user environment. The centrifuge must be suitable for preparative ultracentrifugation. The centrifuge must be able to reach a maximum speed of at least 80 000 rpms. The tender must include a fixed angle rotor with g values of at least 230 000 g, a fixed angle rotor with g values of at least 300 000 g, and a swinging bucket rotor with at least 250 000 g. The system (device and rotors) is expected to come with detailed documentation of all features. The contracting entity has a maximum sum of 95000€ (excluding VAT) available for the procurement and cannot accept tenders exceeding this amount. The procurement is partially funded by the European Regional Development Funds (ERDF), BioParts project (A81573). The contracting entity suspended the previous procurement procedure related to this procurement on 3 July 2026.

      Helsingin yliopisto tarvitsee nopean ja korkearesoluutioisen pyörivän kiekon konfokaalimikroskoopin eläville soluille ja kiinteille näytteille toimitettavaksi Helsinki-Uusimaalle. Järjestelmän enimmäishinta on 450 000 euroa (alv 0 %), sisältäen toimituksen, asennuksen, käyttäjäkoulutuksen ja vakuutuksen instrumentin lopulliseen hyväksyntään asti. Lisäksi pyydetään vuosittaista ennaltaehkäisevää huoltosopimusta viideksi vuodeksi takuuajan jälkeen. Hankinnan tarkoituksena on hankkia edistyksellinen mikroskopiajärjestelmä Biomedicum Imaging Unit -kuvausyksikköön. Tarjoukset arvioidaan hinnan (85 %) ja laadun (15 %) perusteella.

      Laboratory scale hydrogen membrane separation unit

      The University of Oulu needs a compact laboratory-scale hydrogen membrane separation and characterization system for research activities related to hydrogen purification, gas separation processes, and membrane performance evaluation. The system, which should be delivered as a complete turnkey solution including hardware, software, documentation, commissioning, and training, will be used for experimental investigation of membrane technologies under controlled operating conditions using both single-gas and mixed-gas streams. It must be suitable for installation and operation inside a laboratory fume hood with active ventilation of 0.3 m/s and have a compact footprint. The system should support flexible research activities by enabling precise control of gas composition, flow, and pressure, while providing reliable and reproducible experimental data. It must facilitate membrane separation experiments, membrane integrity verification, and safe operation with hydrogen-containing gas mixtures, with automated monitoring, process control, and data acquisition capabilities. The software environment should provide an intuitive graphical user interface for experiment configuration, real-time process monitoring, automated data logging, and export of experimental results. The proposed solution should also be designed to facilitate future integration of externally connected equipment, such as humidification and vacuum systems, without major modifications. The contract duration is 6 months. The award criteria is the total price of the system including all mandatory requirements.
