Brief

The Irish Blood Transfusion Service requires a managed, risk-based Legionella water-safety monitoring and advisory service for five years across eight IBTS locations in Ireland. The work includes Legionella sampling and accredited laboratory analysis, hot- and cold-water temperature monitoring, outlet checks, thermostatic mixing valve verification, cold-water storage tank inspections, water-safety reporting, annual documented Legionella risk assessment reviews, two full reassessments and incident advice; capital and remedial construction works are excluded.
