Water Services Corporation needs works for the upgrading of potable water trunk main and network between Selmun and Xemxija, Malta, with a maximum total value of 4,066,428 EUR. The project involves laying pipes by open cut trenches, including the installation of potable water ductile iron mains (80mm, 100mm, 150mm, and 250mm), non-potable water ductile iron mains (150mm), fibre optic (2 x 50mm), wastewater raising main (150mm), and wastewater main (200mm).   • The subject of this tender is the laying of pipes by open cut trenches as per tender documents and bill of quantities to cater for the continuous increase in demand of potable water in the Northern and Central regions of Malta inclusive, but not exclusive, of: Xemxija to Selmun– Open Cut Trenches o Potable Water Works  Installation of potable water ductile iron mains 80mm, 100mm, 150mm and 250mm exclusive of the supply of pipes and fittings. o Second Class Water (New Water Works)  In Installation of non-potable water ductile iron mains 150mm exclusive of the supply of pipes and fittings. o Fibre Optic 2 x 50mm o Wastewater raising main – 150mm o Wastewater main – 200mm All ductile iron mains and fittings, all polyethylene pipes and fittings and manhole covers and surface boxes are to be supplied by the Water Services Corporation.
