Il-Water Services Corporation teħtieġ xogħlijiet ta' disinn, bini, kummissjonar u trasferiment ta' impjant ġdid (Plant B) fl-Impjant tar-Reverse Osmosis ta' Għar Lapsi, bl-użu ta' miżuri favur l-ambjent u l-kundizzjonijiet FIDIC. Dan l-impjant ta' desalinazzjoni se juża teknoloġija ta' reverse osmosis biex jiddeżalinizza l-ilma baħar għal standards ta' ilma tax-xorb, u l-ilma mielaħ li jirriżulta se jintrema fil-baħar permezz ta' brine header, li huwa wkoll parti mill-ambitu ta' din it-tender. Il-valur massimu totali tal-kuntratt huwa ta' 35,000,000 EUR. Il-proġett se jitwettaq f'Malta.
