Oulun yliopisto needs a non-contact printer for their battery lab, to be used in the manufacture of battery cell structures and battery materials, as well as for other moisture-sensitive materials in electronics. The procurement supports the Oulu dry room being built in the university's Battchem project battery laboratory. The maximum total value for the printer is 115,538 EUR (without VAT). The contract duration is 6 months. The award criterion is total price.

The object of purchase is a non-contact printer for battery lab. The procurement supports Oulu dry room to be built in the university's Battchem project battery laboratory. The device is used especially in the manufacture of battery cell structures and battery materials in related research. The printer can also be used in a dry room environment by other materials that react sensitively with moisture and are used in electronics for processing. This confirms the University of Oulu ability to produce new innovative solutions in electronics for the needs of industry and research and more Oulu and it's reagion visibility as a leader in print intelligenceas an ecosystem. This procurement has been co-funded by Printed intelligence infrastructure (Academy of Finland). Procurement unit can not accept tenders exceeding this amount.
